Florida Brownfield Site Rehabilitation Agreement

The main objectives of the Brownfield Redevelopment Act are to reduce risks to public health and the environment on existing commercial and industrial sites that are abandoned or underutilized as a result of these hazards. create financial and regulatory incentives to promote the voluntary redevelopment and remediation of sites; Derivation of clean-up objectives and a process for obtaining an ”Additional No Action” letter using the principles of risk-based corrective action; and provide the opportunity for environmental justice and justice.
